Signal Technician at Infranord

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of signal technician, you will spend a large part of the day outdoors with your work team and in collaboration with other colleagues. Your work varies between new construction, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the signaling system in our railway environment. Much of the work is done through digital systems and through documentation of controls and fault reports.

It is important that you have the ability to be flexible as weekend and night work as well as on-call duty may occur. Therefore, we see that you live in the local area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approved high school education with a focus on Electrical or Signal Technology.
• Professional experience in signal technology work within the railway.
• Good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.
• Driving license B.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Approved basic signal training e.g., BSG1, BSG2, and Signal Technical Principles and Basics (BSGS)
• Electrical Safety Leader; track work, work equipment, and track vehicles, low voltage
• Safety and Security Leader (SOS leader)
• Supervisor (TSM) for A-, L-, E- protection and road guard
• SISÄ authorization
• Knowledge of various relay or computer-based signal interlockings (e.g., model 59, 65, 85, 95, etc.)
• ATC, equipment, and system functions (BSATC), preferably experience from ERTMS
• Experience in inspecting signaling systems.
