Who are we?

With approximately 3000 employees, the Care and Support Office is the municipality's second largest office. Our main task is to meet the needs for support, care, and assistance for people in various stages of life. We are also responsible for providing food to preschools, schools, and the operations of the Care and Support Office. We work with a user-oriented approach where the work is guided by and based on the needs of the users.

At Kolonigatan 18:1, we work to ensure that residents receive the help and support they need for life to feel meaningful, regardless of illness or disability. The nursing home has 60 apartments divided into two departments with 20 apartments without specialization and one department with 20 apartments focused on dementia. We are located in Skarphagen with good access to public transport and free parking. Here you are close to both nature and the city.

We also collaborate with Kolonigatan 18:2, and together we work to provide the best possible care and support to our residents.

We are hiring for a temporary position as one of our employees will be absent due to studies.

Your tasks

You will be part of an experienced group with good knowledge in care and support. Together, you are responsible for providing support, service, and care to those living at Kolonigatan 18. Your work includes supporting residents in personal care, training, and administering medication.

Equally important is the social aspect where you, together with your colleagues, create a meaningful day for the residents. In addition, you will work with documentation and follow-up as well as with food, laundry, and maintenance of the residents' apartments and common areas.

The schedule includes resource shifts, which means you will work in other departments as needed. The placement may change according to the needs of the operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has experience or knowledge about elderly people in need of support and assistance in their daily lives.

You understand your role but also consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and decision-making. You take great personal responsibility and have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in helping others and work in a solution-focused, calm, and accommodating manner.

You are flexible based on the needs of the operations and have the residents' best interests as your highest priority.

You have a very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good computer skills.
