The neonatal department, together with the pediatric emergency department, pediatric ward, and outpatient care, forms the Children and Youth Clinic at Vrinnevisjukhuset. At the top of our agenda is a good working environment and safe, quality care. A major investment is being made with renovations throughout Vrinnevisjukhuset, and we at the neonatal department have been housed in our new, purpose-built premises since the autumn of 2020. Together, we are about 150 employees in the clinic who work every day to provide good and safe pediatric specialist care.

Job Description

We are looking for a nurse interested in working with premature babies and their parents. In our unit, we work according to NIDCAP, which means that care is individualized for the child and that we work family-centered. As we constantly strive to be at the forefront of care for our small patients, you are expected to participate in the department's quality and improvement work. The position involves a schedule with rotation day, evening, and night.

About You

You are a licensed nurse, with or without previous work experience. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Experience working with children or in intensive care is highly valued, and specialist training in pediatric nursing is an advantage.

Good Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.

As a person, you are secure, adaptable to different situations, and have good collaboration skills. You enjoy being part of a multidisciplinary team where all professional categories learn from each other. It is a given that you contribute with a positive and professional attitude in your work.
