Summer Substitute Nurse for Home Care in Linköping

Among other things, we aim to help more people strengthen their health and live a healthy life in their homes. We are looking for a nurse to join our home care team in Linköping this summer.

Our Operations

In Linköping, Bräcke diakoni takes full responsibility for care, medical services, and rehabilitation at home. Our home care team collaborates with the municipality and several healthcare providers to ensure that those in need receive the right assistance. We focus on managing health issues as well as strengthening existing resources. The team consists of nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists who work together to create a comprehensive care experience. Among the colleagues are also nursing assistants from Bräcke's home care groups who work in homes and at assisted living facilities connected to home care.

Your Responsibilities

As a summer substitute, you will work on a schedule during weeks 25-34. The schedule is set for daytime, without evenings and weekends. However, if you prefer to work on-call this summer, there is also an opportunity for that. As part of the home care team, you will visit patients at home, at Bräcke's assisted living facilities, and home care units in City South. You will be based in Ramstorp, sharing an office with other nurses. If you work on-call, you can start from your home with a service vehicle.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a licensed nurse who can plan safe and health-promoting care interventions in a home environment. This involves being attentive to individual needs and actively collaborating with the patient, colleagues, and contacts in the patient's network. With prior professional experience, you should be ready to mentor care staff and participate in decisions regarding which interventions should be prioritized.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse
• 2 years of professional experience
• You have a valid driver's license (B)
• You write and speak fluently in Swedish

Meritorious

• Experience working with the journal system Treserva
• Experience in home care, geriatrics, or palliative care.
