Practical Training for Dentists

We are now looking for a six-month practical training position at Folktandvården Östergötland.

If you are a dentist with education from a country outside the EU and EEA, you now have the opportunity to apply for practical training within Folktandvården Östergötland. Folktandvården is an important societal actor for equitable dental health, diversity, and development, and sees a responsibility in supporting dentists on their path to Swedish dental licensure.

We Offer

We offer a six-month practical training position for dentists with education outside the EU and EEA. After successful completion of the training, you have the opportunity to apply for Swedish dental licensure. You will work under supervision with all aspects of general dentistry and treat patients of all ages, from young children to older adults. You will have the opportunity to utilize and develop your entire dental competence. We offer you a varied job where you work health-oriented with high quality and service alongside both new and experienced colleagues.

About You

You have a dental degree from a country outside the EU and EEA and have a residence permit in Sweden. You have completed the National Board of Health and Welfare's knowledge test with a passing result in both the theoretical and practical parts. You also have a passing result in Swedish at C1 level and possess good communication skills.

We are looking for someone who easily collaborates and builds good relationships. You approach all people with understanding, respect, and care. You have good pedagogical skills and appreciate a job where you can take responsibility. In your work, you value dental quality and efficiency. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Employment and Application

The position is a six-month practical training at 100% with a start date to be agreed upon in the autumn of 2025.
