Job Description

You will primarily work with medication services and other pharmaceutical services in the supply unit within clinical pharmacology. This includes medication orders to the medication stores, assortment revisions together with the department's medication-responsible nurses, assisting nurses to ensure that medications are available for tablet splitting, and providing advice on medications. The purpose is to relieve nurses and increase patient safety while allowing nurses to be more present for the patients. Customer contact mainly consists of nurses within the healthcare.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

Work Group

The medication supply is under clinical pharmacology, whose mission is to promote safe and effective medication use in all parts of healthcare. Here, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, doctors, nurses, chemists, and laboratory/technical staff work together to meet the needs of healthcare. We already encompass a wide range of activities including medication analyses, medication information centers, clinical trial units, tasks for the medication committee, clinical pharmacy, evaluation of new medications, and various support functions for safe medication use via the region's journal system and website.

As a university hospital unit, we also actively engage in research, development, and education regarding medications and their use.

About You

You are a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician. You may have worked for a few years or be newly graduated. Introduction and training will be adapted based on your educational and professional background. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite.

Your work is characterized by precision and quality awareness. You are structured and can prioritize your work effectively and accurately. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and are solution-oriented. In your relationships with others, you are attentive and accommodating, as well as responsive to the needs of healthcare and other operations.

You have good collaboration skills and can work in a team while also having the ability to perform tasks independently. You are expected to be engaged, proactive, and contribute to the development of the operations together with other employees. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities during recruitment.
