Welcome to Vårdcentralen Finspång

Starting from 2025, Vårdcentralen Finspång and Skärblacka will be a joint operational area. The change aims to provide a robust operation that is prepared to meet the demographic challenges we face in the future.

The operations currently have nearly 26,000 registered patients and a workforce of over 110 employees. The new operational area includes Vårdcentralen Finspång, Vårdcentralen Skärblacka, and Jourcentralen Finspång. Included in Vårdcentralen Finspång is also a branch in Rejmyre.

Primärvårdscentrum Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers during evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

Job Description

As a specialist in general medicine, you will work with your own patient list. You will have a varied job, usually with some side assignments such as SÄBO, Home Care, Child Health Care, and more. An important part of the job is to supervise our training doctors from both the medical program as well as AT and ST doctors. You will participate in on-call duties during evenings and weekends based in Finspång.

In the development that Primary Care is undergoing, we see the need for time for development work at the health center and for your own professional development. The position includes scheduled time for development work and personal competence development.

Work Group

The medical group at both health centers consists of 15 specialists, 10 ST doctors, and 1 junior doctor. We also have recurring AT doctors and medical students.

About You

We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist competence primarily in general medicine. We are also interested in geriatrics or other specialist competencies that are deemed suitable for our operations. It is important for us that you have a broad general knowledge regardless of specialty. You have a Swedish medical license (attached to the application) and Swedish language skills corresponding to level Swedish C1.

We offer a permanent position at 100%. The position involves work on weekdays as well as on-call work during evenings and weekends. The primary placement of the position is in Finspång, but work at both locations may be relevant.
