The position is located within the Health and Care Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping municipality. The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health care, regulatory activities, ordering services, and provides care and support on its own. Your Responsibilities

Every day we face challenges in everyday care. Many of us do our best daily to find the best solution for the individual - every day, including evenings, nights, and weekends - throughout the year. The focus is always on the individual we are here for. You are needed!

We are now looking for you who are a care assistant and want to be part of our multidisciplinary team where we all are needed - care staff, nurses, etc. Working in home care is characterized by independent and fast-paced work where no day is like the other! The position is a permanent employment with working hours during the day, evening, and weekend.

With us, you will work to provide good service, create good relationships, and contribute to enhanced quality of life for each individual. Together with your colleagues, you are an important piece of the puzzle in creating a meaningful everyday life for our citizens in need of support, care, and assistance. The job includes care tasks, such as personal hygiene care and medical interventions delegated by a nurse, as well as support and help with practical matters at home. Your day may also include accompanying care visits, shopping, or going for a walk.

As a care assistant, you will work as a permanent care contact for one or more individuals. This means that you participate in welcome conversations where you together with the individual plan support measures based on a salutogenic approach. You are responsible for the individual's implementation plan and document in the Treserva system. The role also includes maintaining close contact with relatives and other partners.

The Health and Care Administration in Linköping municipality is responsible for elderly care and offers safe and professional care in municipal management. Ekbacken/Möjetorp home care and Möjetorp's secure housing are located in the picturesque Hjulsbro, in southern Linköping. Möjetorp's secure housing offers 16 apartments, and we provide service both to those living in the secure housing and to residents in the surrounding area of Ekholmen/Hjulsbro. The workgroup is based in our pleasant premises in Ekbacken, Ekholmen, and the work involves both cycling and driving for planned interventions and alarms. We take pride in delivering care of high quality, always with the customer at the center, and you will become part of a cheerful and close-knit team.

Who You Are

We are primarily looking for someone who has a completed and approved care assistant education and has experience working in care, support, and assistance. As we are looking for care staff, it may also be of interest if you have an approved high school education combined with experience in support, care, and assistance. For the position, it is advantageous if you have experience working in home care.

Work in elderly care involves a lot of customer contact and documentation, which means we require you to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish. We appreciate if you have knowledge of a salutogenic approach, low-arousal responses, and the IBIC (individual needs in focus) method. You have the ability to use digital tools in your work, and you should have knowledge of and be able to document in journal systems. As we move between different clients, it is required that you can cycle. It is an advantage if you have a B driver's license as driving may be included in the position.

As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward. You also work well with others and listen and communicate clearly. It is also important that you have an empathetic ability that allows you to understand others' perspectives and situations.

This recruitment includes a language test. Upon employment, you will need to present a criminal record from the Police.
