Job Description

As a clinic coordinator, you have a central role at the clinic and serve as support to both the clinic manager and employees. You are a hub in the operation and organize the daily work. Your tasks include being responsible for personnel administration/planning, scheduling, purchasing, and other administration.

The clinic coordinator is part of Folktandvården's clinic management group and the clinic coordinator network centrally. The clinic management group meets twice a year, and the network for clinic coordinators has regular meetings during the term and a continuous dialogue to help and support each other in daily operations. You act as an employer representative and participate in and drive development and improvement work.

The role also includes working clinically in your core profession.

Work Group

Folktandvården in Söderköping and Valdemarsvik are two general dental care clinics with 18 employees. The staffing consists of a clinic manager (dentist), clinic coordinator (dental nurse), 6 dentists, 1 dental hygienist, and 10 dental nurses.

Söderköping has 10 treatment rooms and Valdemarsvik has 4. The unit collaborates with other FTV clinics in the area regarding both patients and staff.

At Folktandvården in Söderköping and Valdemarsvik, every employee is valuable, and we are helpful to each other. A good reception is important for both patients and staff. We are now looking for a clinic coordinator due to the current clinic coordinator retiring in May 2025.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained dental hygienist or dental nurse and has experience in the profession. We prefer that you have experience in administrative work, leadership roles, or leadership training. You should also have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms as you will communicate with patients, colleagues, and other partners.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills who enjoys working together with others in a responsive and smooth manner. You are structured, plan and organize your work efficiently, and have the ability to meet deadlines. As a person, you are service-oriented and have a genuine interest in helping others with a calm and accommodating demeanor. You are flexible and see opportunities in changes and can quickly adapt to new conditions. Furthermore, you are proactive and driven to initiate activities that lead to concrete results. We place great importance on personal suitability.

To thrive in this role, we believe you need to have a genuine interest in supporting and helping others. You should enjoy having a large number of daily contacts with both colleagues and patients.

Application and Employment

The position of clinic coordinator is a fixed-term appointment with a permanent full-time employment in your core profession. The assignment is combined with work in your core profession.
