JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for two nurses to join our dedicated team in home healthcare, where we work with patients within LSS. With us in the functional support team, you will find a welcoming work environment, where both managers and colleagues are committed to creating a positive and supportive workplace climate.

We offer an independent job where you have the opportunity to plan your workday and where you always have close colleagues to consult when needed. As a nurse, you are responsible for setting goals, planning, leading, and following up on care in consultation with both the patient and nursing staff. The assignment involves home visits to a varied number of residences, where you assess both mental and somatic conditions. The need for health care among our patients ranges from preventive measures to more advanced medical care, making the work both varied and stimulating. We work based on person-centered care and support, and you are an important part of many patients' daily lives.

Together with the nursing team, occupational therapists and physiotherapists are also included, which provides close and strong collegial support and effective collaboration. Working hours are mainly scheduled for day shifts, with duty every fifth weekend and three evening shifts over five weeks. As our operations are under development, you have the opportunity to influence working methods and approaches. We value participation, and with us, you truly make a difference!

To ensure you feel secure in your role, we offer professional development and a well-planned introduction, including at least two weeks of shadowing and a continuous learning process that extends throughout the first year.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. We prefer that you have previous experience as a nurse, preferably within municipal health care. It is also an advantage if you have experience working with the target group of patients with disabilities. Since we operate in a large geographical area, a B driver's license is required.

As the work as a nurse with us is independent, you have the ability to make decisions within the framework of your assignment or consult with your colleagues to move forward. You work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You understand the common mission, act based on it, and contribute to the whole. You take responsibility for your and the common tasks with the patients' best interests in focus. In your work, you meet many different types of people, and therefore we see that you have a good ability to create trusting relationships. You show consideration and respect for the people you meet and have a positive and open attitude. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and can adapt your information according to the situation and the patient's needs.
