Then you might be the person we are looking for! We are now seeking a laboratory technician at Orkla Foods in Kungshamn who wants to be part of our dedicated team in the quality department and help ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a laboratory technician at Orkla Foods in Kungshamn, you will have the opportunity to work with market-leading products in a dynamic environment. Here, the flexibility and overall responsibility of a small organization combine with the resources of a large organization.

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Perform various types of analyses
• Register, assess, and follow up measurement results
• Release products
• Register deviations and contribute to root cause analyses
• Respond to and follow up on complaints
• Conduct hygiene sampling in production and lead hygiene meetings
• Actively participate in HACCP teams
• Send samples to external laboratories

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is analytical, methodical, and quality-conscious. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are flexible in your approach to work. Since you will collaborate with many different parts of the organization, it is important that you have good communication skills and are service-oriented.

We also see that you have:

• Post-secondary education in food, microbiology, or another relevant field
• Experience in laboratory work and/or work in the food industry
• Good computer skills
• The ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English

ABOUT ORKLA FOODS IN KUNGSHAMN

In beautiful Kungshamn, we prepare our seafood products with pride and precision. Here, there are about twenty production lines where we produce caviar, herring, matjes herring, anchovies, pâtés, stews, fish balls, and mackerel products for various markets. Our raw material center, also known as the "rock room", is a unique facility carved into the Bohuslän bedrock. Here, raw materials such as roe and herring are stored and matured in up to 100,000 barrels, contributing to the high quality of our products. About 250 people work at the facility to prepare food under well-known brands such as Abba, Kalles Kaviar, Grebbestads, Svennes, and Ejderns. Since 2016, all the electricity we use is renewable, something we are very proud of!
