JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a registered nurse who wants to apply your knowledge in the disability support area. You will be welcomed to a pleasant workplace, where you meet a manager and colleagues who care about creating a good work environment and having fun at work!

We work with individuals aged 18-65 who have a congenital or acquired disability and who live in supported housing with special support and services. Many of them also have daily activities in vocational training. Geographically, we operate from the health care unit at Angered Square, with an exciting selection of food and shops as well as good connections via public transport. In the team, you will have several occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses working towards the same housing and daily activities as you. The residences are located both in the urban core and in rural areas. In the team, you have strong collegial support and collaboration where we encourage doing things together. Together with the team, there is an opportunity for a creative and solution-oriented working method to make a difference for the patients.

We offer you an independent job where you have the opportunity to plan your workday and have close colleagues to consult when needed. In the role of nurse, you are responsible for setting goals, planning, leading, and following up on care in consultation with the patient and nursing staff. The assignments are performed as home visits across a range of supported housing and services where you assess both mental and somatic conditions. The patients' needs for health care vary from preventive to therapeutic medical interventions, contributing to a varied and stimulating job. We aim to provide person-centered care and support, and you are an important person in many people's daily lives. As our operations are under development, there is an opportunity for you as an employee to influence working methods and approaches. We continuously work with competence-enhancing training initiatives focusing on the target group within disability support. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a registered nurse, and it is advantageous if you have further education in psychiatry or as a district nurse. We prefer that you have previous experience as a nurse and/or working with the target group of patients with disabilities, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. Since we work across a large geographical area, a B driver's license is required.

As the work as a nurse with us is independent, you have the ability to make decisions within the framework of your assignment or consult with your colleagues to move forward. You work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole. You take responsibility for your and the shared tasks with the patients' best interests in focus. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and can adapt your information according to the situation and the patient's needs.
