JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for care assistants for Tynnered Home Care Center. Do you want to help the people you meet to live a dignified life and feel well-being? Do you want to work in a personal and varied environment? Do you want to be our new colleague?

We are looking for care assistants for six permanent positions. We, your future colleagues, see that you are attentive to the needs of the care recipients. We work for good quality and a good working environment where the team is our foundation. We wish that you have a professional and responsible approach, but still have a sense of humor when we care for our teamwork. As a care assistant in home care, you will work together with reception representatives and care supervisors at the center who support us in our care work. We have a dementia team connected to the southwest that contributes with guidance in the team.

Working in elderly care gives you the opportunity to contribute to joy and well-being. The goal is for care recipients to have meaningful days, where you provide good care and social support. You will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role while making a difference for those we are here for. Our operations are running every day, which means that working hours are during the day, evening, and weekends.

Work in home care means that you support and assist the care recipient in their own home based on approved services. You will travel to the individual's home on foot, by bicycle, or by car. Our surroundings are very beautiful, and there is good accessibility with many bike paths. In your work, you will provide practical help with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more. You will also perform health and medical tasks according to instructions and delegation from a nurse. All documentation is done digitally.

As a care assistant in home care, you will have a varied job where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

• We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant, can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or can show that you were employed as a care assistant when the new regulations were introduced.
• Bicycle experience
• Since we document and communicate in Swedish, you need to be able to speak and write in Swedish.

Meritorious but not a requirement

• B driver's license
• Work experience in health and social care

Personal qualities

As a care assistant in home care, you are friendly and helpful to others even in a stressful situation. In your work, you take responsibility for your and the group's tasks. You are also keen to complete what you have started and ensure that the work is done correctly.

You convey information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing. You ensure that your message gets across. The tasks vary, so it is important that you can change how you work when things change.
