Looking for a BVC Nurse

Job Responsibilities

As a BVC nurse, you will likely have a shared position and work both at the DSK clinic and the BVC clinic. You will meet children and their guardians from newborns up to 5 years of age according to the child health care program. The work as a BVC nurse consists of preventive health checks, developmental assessments, parent groups, vaccinations according to the child health care's basic program, and home visits to all newborns.

Participation in additional assignments at the health center may occur. Training sessions and unit dialogues with the Child Health Care Unit take place annually. You will work both independently and as part of a team with other staff categories at the health center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse or a licensed nurse with specialized training in health care for children and adolescents. Experience working at a health center and child health center is advantageous. You have experience with the Cosmic journal system and you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

We see that you have the ability to work independently, although there are always colleagues available for questions and support. You are resilient to stress and used to prioritizing your tasks. Since we work in teams, it is important that you are easy to collaborate and communicate with others. You are well-structured in your work, take responsibility for your tasks, and contribute to a positive work climate.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

Employment Conditions

A permanent position as a nurse/BVC nurse part-time/full-time, 75-100% with start date according to agreement.
