JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a nurse for a rotational position with the majority (68%) of the job at night and 32% during the day. Working as a night nurse with us means you will work alongside experienced nursing assistants in our three localities; Surahammar, Ramnäs, and Virsbo, which are in close proximity to each other.

As a night nurse, the focus is on ensuring that patients have a calm and safe environment with good sleep. The nurses are part of a collaborative work team with close cooperation with each other. The group has a broad competence, which is utilized in a learning organization.

The work is very flexible as you allocate tasks according to the needs that arise and plan the duties assigned to the night nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is desirable that you have experience in caring for the elderly and/or people with disabilities. As a person, you have a positive outlook, are responsible, have good collaboration skills, and are flexible. We would like you to have further education in geriatrics, dementia care, psychiatry, or specific knowledge in LSS. You are structured and can communicate clearly. In our work, attitude and approach are important cornerstones. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driver's license is required. Surahammar Municipality is a Finnish administrative area, and proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written, is an asset.
