Specialist in General Medicine as a Supervisor

We are looking for a specialist in general medicine for a role as a supervisor for our training doctors (AT, BT, and ST doctors, junior doctors, and students). Our goal is to build a stable staffing solution for the long term by offering training positions with a good working environment and excellent supervision. This is where you come in!

Job Responsibilities

Your main task will be supervision both individually and in groups, joint consultations, clinical instruction, and assessments of training doctors and students. You will be part of our education team for other professional groups and will be an integral part of the improvement efforts ongoing at the healthcare center. Internal training for employees and colleagues is seen as a natural part of the role. The assignment can of course also be combined with clinical work or other assignments.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-operated healthcare centers in Västmanland are run as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the region. Närvården Sala Väsby is one of the healthcare centers included in Närvården Västmanland and is a well-established center with a forward-thinking approach. The healthcare center is part of a new healthcare building that also includes Sala local hospital and several other clinics. We are responsible for over 12,900 registered patients, and our unit includes consultations with doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, as well as maternal and child health care. We also have a branch clinic in Västerfärnebo that is open a few days a week. The healthcare center is located near train and bus stations and has free parking for staff adjacent to the workplace.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced specialist in general medicine who is seeking new challenges. You need to have experience in leadership and supervision as well as previous experience in Swedish primary care. You have a general medical approach and a strong interest in educating future colleagues in general medicine. To succeed in this role, we see that you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Experience with the Cosmic journal system is preferred as we work in that system.

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent employment at a minimum of 50%, other working hours can be discussed during the interview. Start date by agreement.
