We are now looking for a temporary occupational therapist for the assignment Step to Work (STA)
for personalized work based on the participant's conditions - Unique solutions for unique people.
What are my tasks?
The target group for the work is job seekers who, due to disabilities and/or a history of ill health, need work-oriented rehabilitation to enter work or education. The assignment is divided into four (4) parts:
- Map the individual's needs in the service aimed at finding the participant's resources, gathered conditions, and support needs related to different work situations in a constructed environment. This should result in the participant gaining increased insights into their resources and limitations related to different work situations. In this part, you will assess the participant's performance of activities using AWP in various activities.
- If necessary, map resources and support needs.
- Strengthen and develop the participant's conditions to enter a workplace through motivating measures, guidance, and work trials in a workplace to ultimately.
- Find a workplace where the participant can get a job in the regular labor market. The goal of the assignment as a whole is to identify the participant's resources and support needs and strengthen and develop the participant with the aim of work or education in a cohesive process across all parts of the assignment.
The tasks include the following:
- Plan and map the participant's needs for activities, adaptations within the service (DOA, WRI, MOHOST).
- Guide, instruct, and observe participants based on the questions at hand.
- Motivate and support the participant with a focus on solutions in the work situation.
- Adapt environmental factors to support the participant's capacity and make assessments according to (AWC).
- Document activities and performance as well as results in ongoing daily notes during the service.
- Other reporting and administration related to the assignment.
You will collaborate with your colleagues in the area and other occupational therapist colleagues around the country. You will be part of creating growth for Iris's operations.
Who is suitable for the position?
- We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist with knowledge of the instruments:
- Model of Human Occupation Screening Tool (MOHOST)
- Dialog about Work Ability (DOA)
- Assessment of Work Characteristics (AWC)
- Assessment of Work Performance (AWP)
- Worker Role Interview (WRI)
- We would also like you to have experience working with various aids and designing adaptations at the individual level.
As a person, you are self-driven with a good ability to structure and prioritize your work and follow up on how the work is progressing. You are creative and focused on solutions and opportunities. Since the work involves daily contact with participants, customers, and colleagues, it is also important that you have very good collaboration skills.
For the position, a B driver's license is desirable as travel between locations may occur.
Additional information
The position is a full-time temporary position for one year. Start date is according to agreement. Your workplace will be at our office in Haninge.
