We are now looking for a nursing assistant at Villa Djäknegatan in Uppsala for available positions for both temporary and permanent roles at various working hours. We offer training and several benefits.

About Villa Djäknegatan

Villa Djäknegatan opened in May 2024, we have three dementia departments and one nursing department.

• We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and school breaks. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the lives of our residents.
• You will have a team leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operations. Becoming a team leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.
• We are constantly working to create new, exciting activities for our residents. For example, we have introduced VR technology that allows for various travel experiences, adventures, or games through VR glasses. Read more about Vardaga's VR initiative here: Around the world in 40 minutes.

As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.
