Academic Hospital offers the opportunity for study salary for nurses who are accepted into the midwifery program and start their education in the autumn semester of 2025. The offer also applies to studies conducted at other institutions than Uppsala University. It primarily targets nurses who are permanently employed, or who, in connection with recruitment to the education, are offered a permanent position at the Women's Health Department, Academic Hospital, Region Uppsala. The hospital prioritizes applicants who have not previously received a study salary during specialist training within Region Uppsala.

Conditions

Your study salary corresponds to 100% of the base salary (but max 32,000 SEK/month). The study salary is vacation pay qualifying and is not paid during holidays and any study breaks. We will offer you a position at the Women's Health Department, Obstetrics, Maternity Ward before the course starts, so that we can get to know each other already during the education period. This way, you will have the opportunity to meet your future colleagues and familiarize yourself with your future workplace. The employment is full-time, with a requirement to work a 3-shift rotation. After completing your education, you will continue to work as a midwife in inpatient obstetrics, based on the needs of the operation.
