ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for two personal assistants who want to work as summer substitutes during the day, evening, and every other weekend for our client. In this role, you will always have a colleague by your side as the client has been granted double assistance. Working hours on weekdays are scheduled between 07:00-18:00 and 07:00-19:00 as well as 07:00-19:30. We are looking for someone who wants to work this summer between weeks 25-32. The employment rate is approximately 90-100% with good opportunities for continued work as a substitute after the summer. We would prefer that you can start the introduction in May or as agreed.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful and caring 12-year-old girl who needs support and help with various daily tasks. The job includes assisting with transfers, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, eating, daily activities, and medication. During the day, you will work with her at school, and during other times, the work will be based at home. She lives with her mother and father every other week. Furthermore, she lacks verbal language and has limited communication skills. She uses communication aids. You will mostly work together with a colleague as the girl has been granted double assistance for large parts of the day. Lastly, she enjoys playing with her siblings, going to school, swimming, and listening to music.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Our client is looking for someone who is positive, warm, and caring. You should also be responsible, calm, and secure in yourself. It is important that you are attentive to the girl's needs and can give her the time and patience needed when she wants to show or tell something. We view previous experience working with children positively. There are no requirements for you to have worked as a personal assistant before, but we take personal suitability into great consideration. Furthermore, a driver's license is required as the assistants drive the girl in the family's car.

Employment rate: Summer substitute/temporary employment.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
