Sonja is 11 years old and lives in Stockholm but spends all her holidays, especially the summer, at a vacation spot in Norrbo, Hudiksvall municipality. We are looking for someone to work as a personal assistant and relieve her parents. There is high flexibility regarding the assistant's schedule, so please include your preferences in your application. You will work in a beautiful environment in Dellenbygden, with great opportunities to be outdoors and enjoy the surroundings.

Sonja is a calm and cheerful girl who enjoys being close to people, going for walks, and cuddling. She cannot walk or move independently and therefore needs practical help with most daily activities. The role includes assistance with feeding, changing clothes, and hygiene. You will be her important support in all moments!

The job includes breathing exercises, training, and strengthening her muscles. Sonja does not have a spoken language but communicates with sounds and body language. Being able to interpret body language is therefore important! The job also involves monitoring her general condition and epilepsy. Sonja loves water, and swimming in a pool is a favorite activity, so you need to be able to swim.

Where: Norrbo (located between Hudiksvall and Delsbo)

Employment rate: Possibility for part-time or full-time based on your preferences!

Working hours: Day, afternoon, or evening

When: Primarily during the summer vacation of 2025, but there are also opportunities for work during other school holidays.

It is important that you can take your own initiatives and that you enjoy building relationships. You speak and understand good Swedish and see opportunities instead of difficulties every shift. You should be good at reading and sensing other people, have good self-awareness, and be calm within yourself.

Being an assistant with us means being a creative multitasker with imagination and humor, having the ability to find opportunities for both play and fun according to the girl's own abilities, but also opportunities for relaxation.

Experience in care and support or with children is an advantage, but the chemistry with our client and her family is very important, and therefore great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
