About the role as a developer:

In the role of developer, you will improve and renew Minalyze scanners by working with hardware-near programming. Minalyze, which is now part of the company Veracio, analyzes mineral and rock samples from drill cores. They use advanced technology to scan minerals and rocks to identify their content. As a developer, you should understand and be involved in the development of drivers, development projects, and support to contribute to Minalyze's impact in the industry.

At the office in Sävedalen, you are part of a team of 7 people with varying roles. There are other developers, data scientists, and geologists. You work closely together to find solutions in the projects. Minalyze has high competence among its employees, and the work they do has made them revolutionary in the industry. In addition to your team at the office, you also have daily contact with the remaining teams in the USA and Australia. There may be travel to Alingsås where the manufacturing takes place.

Responsibilities:

• Support for scanners in the field.
• Improvement projects.

In the role of developer, we are looking for someone who has:

We are looking for a driven developer with at least 1 year of experience and knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System). In this role, you will work on developing software for embedded systems and related hardware, focusing on optimizing performance and efficiency. You will be part of a team that works to ensure seamless integration between software and hardware. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow and develop in a technically advanced environment with a focus on robotics and automation.

Requirements

• Higher education in programming, electronics, mechatronics, or another relevant field.
• At least 1 year of work experience in C++ development, or C++ development in another professional environment.
• Knowledge of ROS.
• Swedish & English, spoken & written.
• Interest in electronics such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar.

Meritorious

• Knowledge of the mining industry or geological fields.
• Experience with personal projects using Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
• Experience in web development.
• Driving license B.
