Network Technician for Infrastructure

Our client is looking for a network technician for their ongoing projects and management. The assignment may vary and include operations, development, or upgrades to ensure security and functionality requirements.

As a technician for customized network environments, you will be the driving force behind creating network solutions that meet specific requirements in various areas. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify their exact needs and translate them into robust network configurations that optimize performance, security, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

Network Design:

• Create tailored network architectures that align with the specific needs of customized environments.
• Design network layouts, hardware configurations, and communication protocols that ensure seamless connectivity and resource availability.

Firewall Management:

• Have a deep understanding of firewall technologies and techniques.
• Configure and manage firewalls to protect networks, control traffic, and reduce security risks.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay updated on industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Ensure that network configurations comply with relevant data protection and industry guidelines.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT administrators, application developers, and security experts, to create comprehensive solutions that meet the overall needs of the environment.

Network Skills in:

• LAN based on Cisco, Dell, HPE Aruba
• CISCO ISE
• Fortigate/Checkpoint

Other:

The location is at the office in Gothenburg.
The employment form is a consulting assignment for 12 months as an employee of NXT Interim, which may be extended.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. Background checks and security interviews are part of the process
and you need to be a Swedish citizen.
