Job Responsibilities

As an Automation Technician, you will be an important part of our team, responsible for programming, implementing, and developing PLC systems for customer-specific material handling systems. In the office, you will work independently with programming, development, and integration of PLC solutions with adjacent systems such as HMI, WMS, and ERP to ensure an effective overall solution. You will then step into the operational business, where you configure, test, and optimize systems directly at our customers' sites, both in Sweden and internationally. The role also includes ongoing troubleshooting and technical support, where you act as a problem solver and ensure that systems function optimally. The position offers an attractive combination of teamwork and individual responsibility with varying technical challenges.

Background and Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with a technical education in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent practical experience. You have at least 1-2 years of experience in PLC programming, preferably including configuration and commissioning of automation systems in a production environment. Experience with Siemens (Step 7, TIA Portal), Rockwell, Mitsubishi, or Beckhoff is considered advantageous, as well as experience in robot integration and other automation systems.

The role requires you to be comfortable working independently on-site with customers and enjoy close collaboration to solve technical challenges. Furthermore, you are a skilled problem solver with a good ability to troubleshoot and optimize technical systems. Since the position involves a lot of customer contact, you need to communicate well in both Swedish and English.
