Test Engineer/Test Lead for Future Automotive Solutions

We are looking for a driven test engineer or test lead for our client in Gothenburg who wants to take the next step in their career and contribute to the development of future automotive solutions. In this role, you will lead and plan tests, analyze data, and ensure that the results meet the highest quality standards. Depending on your experience, you may also take on a more strategic role in test management, where you will be responsible for optimizing test strategies and coaching the team in best practices.

Responsibilities

As a Test Engineer, you will lead, plan, and execute tests in various development phases to ensure high quality and reliable results. You will carefully analyze and review test data to identify any deviations and areas for improvement. The work involves the use of HIL systems and testing tools within the automotive industry, where you will contribute to developing and optimizing test strategies as well as improving testing processes. You will document and communicate test results in a clear and structured manner to ensure they are understandable and useful. Additionally, you will serve as a supportive and guiding resource for team members by sharing your knowledge of testing methodology and quality assurance.

Your Profile and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in testing and quality assurance, preferably with experience in test management.
• Solid knowledge of Python and experience in test automation.
• Experience with tools such as HIL, Vector, and CANalyzer.
• Experience from the automotive industry (preferred).
• A post-secondary education in IT, computer science, or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
