The Talent Program

As an Embedded Developer, you will join the Talent Program along with Talent colleagues from offices in Jönköping, Linköping, and Gothenburg. Initially, you will come up with a joint project that you want to work on, to learn from each other and work across multiple disciplines. The goal is for you to embark on an exciting consulting assignment with one of AFRY's clients. During the Talent Program, you will participate in several joint training days with both internal and external speakers, which will take place during paid working hours. You will also get to enjoy several fun activities with your colleagues from the Talent Program, AFRY, and Framtiden!

About the Role

For this role within AFRY's Talent Program, you will be an Embedded Developer in the Connected Products business area. They provide expertise in mechanics, software, and project management. Connected Products works on developing and integrating advanced IoT solutions and wireless technologies for a variety of industries, including industrial, automotive, telecommunications, and defense. As an Embedded Developer, you will work on-site with clients but will always have close access to your AFRY colleagues and your nearest AFRY manager. Examples of Projects and Tasks

• Development of sensors
• Design and implementation of test systems
• Creation of communication devices or hardware design

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer engineering/mechatronics/electrical engineering/technical physics or equivalent with a focus on embedded systems.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of C and Python, preferably also C++.

Meritorious

• Thesis work at companies that are also AFRY's clients.
• Relevant work experience.
