IT is a result unit within the service sector that delivers IT to Ulricehamn and Tranemo municipalities. We work to provide appropriate IT to our users by creating common solutions as far as possible, being a support to the operations in development, and sharing key competencies.

The unit consists of 18 people who work together in different teams: User Support, Operational Support, and Infrastructure. As an IT technician with your focus, you will belong to the Operational Support team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operational Support team consists of IT technicians, e-coordinators, and business developers. The team actively works with development and operations to ensure that systems function optimally and meet the organization's needs. To best contribute to our digitalization journey, we work together with the operations to develop the municipalities' IT environment.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of operational systems
• Ensuring system availability, performance, and security
• Collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders for system development and improvements
• Documenting procedures, technical solutions, and incident management
• Troubleshooting
• Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying and addressing issues

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in IT with a qualified vocational or academic education in computer and systems science or other experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English, as well as a B driver's license, is a requirement.

We would like you to have practical and theoretical knowledge of modern information technology and complex IT environments, as well as other desirable competencies such as:

• Experience in IT operations and support of operational systems
• Knowledge of Windows Server
• Knowledge of database management, Microsoft SQL Server
• Understanding of integration solutions and API management
• Experience in automation and scripting with PowerShell
• Experience in access and permission management
• Knowledge of MS365
