Your mission

We are now looking for a Java Developer with good communication and leadership skills for the Integration unit to support us in delivering integration solutions to our projects and agile delivery teams. Together with a large group of architects and developers, all of whom have system integration as their common area of expertise, we work to provide residents in the region with access to the best service and to give our employees the best possible conditions to perform their work.

The Integration unit is tasked with analyzing all integration needs for both internal and external connections and delivering solutions with high quality in terms of security, stability, and manageability. The unit contributes to implementing stable and modern integration solutions by using proven software patterns and standards for integration.

What can we offer you?

With an increased focus on digital solutions within the region, the corporate staff's digitalization is in an intense and challenging phase that places increased demands on competence in system integration. We are undergoing a shift regarding both organization, working methods, and technology with exciting challenges in new development projects, further development, and management of existing integration solutions. At the same time, we are working on building support for application delivery in the form of guidelines and policies to involve them in managing their own integration needs.

The unit consists of several smaller teams focused on different areas of responsibility or products, staffed by product owners, agile leaders, integration architects, and system developers. We work with several different technologies and platforms, and as a developer, you are involved in the entire lifecycle management, from design to implementation.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• A post-secondary education in system development with Java as the main focus.
• Excellent communication skills and practical experience in maintaining and following business processes.
• Self-motivated and have experience working in a central integration function previously.
• Also, have extensive experience in distributing tasks and following up on progress and results using issue management systems such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

It is advantageous if you have previous experience with agile working methods. Standardized working methods and quality are important aspects for us, and we continuously improve our processes.

We also consider it an advantage if you have experience in the public sector and some knowledge of Swedish national infrastructure in healthcare and health, as national services are an established part of our integration landscape.

We are looking for a positive and curious developer who is communicative and solution-oriented, putting the customer first. You enjoy working both individually and in teams and sharing your experiences. You find it easy to translate requirements into solutions.
