We are looking for a Maintenance Leader for Alstom Depot in Raus
Your future role
As a Maintenance Leader, you will play a central role in our planning department. You will report to Jonas Svensson (Planning Manager in Helsingborg) and work with one of our shift teams.
The Maintenance Leader, or Tactical Planner as we also call it, is a function responsible for the daily planning work that occurs in very close collaboration with both VR's traffic management and our own production managers.
You will handle tactical planning down to track level as well as managing deviations and disturbances.
The Maintenance Leader is responsible for the short-term and medium-term planning of maintenance, which includes planning arrivals and departures from the depot for both preventive and corrective maintenance.
You will among other things:
- Be responsible for the preparation of the FORD/maintenance system by providing supplementary information to the depots, facilitating effective troubleshooting (Material needs, HelthHub), and ensuring that data and information in GSI, SES, and FORD are accurate.
- Utilize available IT tools (such as Afme and HelthHub) to achieve an optimal balance between maintenance and fleet planning, and actively work to prevent backlog maintenance and maximize availability.
- Monitor and actively ensure that vehicles scheduled for maintenance arrive on time and on the correct track.
- Provide support to Technical Operations Support in managing vehicle damages in operational operations.
- Provide troubleshooting documentation to the depots to shorten repair times and reduce the need for test drives.
- Work to minimize the risk of consequential damage through careful diagnostics and prioritization of damages.

- Familiarity with processes and procedures related to train operations and vehicle maintenance
- IT proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English + Swedish
- Planning and organizational skills
Desirable for the role.
- Several years of experience in systematic maintenance work in the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge and experience of information systems for maintenance operations
- Experience in customer contact
- Experience in the railway industry

The position involves shift work.
This position is a fixed-term contract until February 2026, with potential opportunities for permanent employment.
