Our production is located in Helsingborg, where this position is based.
About the role
As a Demand & Supply Planner, you will have an operational role focused on ensuring that the right products are in the right place at the right time. You will work with our S&OP process to optimize inventory management and production through careful analysis of demand data. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various internal departments as well as partners to create a smooth and efficient supply chain. The focus of the tasks may vary over time.
Main responsibilities
- Demand planning for our inventories and analysis of demand data to optimize stock levels and production.
- Supply planning for our inventories within the group.
- Optimize capital binding.
- Management and analysis of large data sets to support decision-making.
- Manage master data and item administration.
- Implement and follow up on key performance indicators.
- Manage product phase-ins and phase-outs.
Qualifications and background
We see that you have a relevant post-secondary education in supply chain and some years of experience in demand & supply planning, and that you have experience working with S&OP processes and supply planning. You must have a strong interest in systems and a very good ability to handle and analyze data. Excellent knowledge of Excel and experience working with advanced spreadsheets is required.
We consider it a clear advantage if you have experience from a manufacturing environment and/or FMCG, as well as experience working with forecasting and production planning systems. What you lack in experience, you make up for in character and personality.
As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, independent, and proactive. You do not wait for things to be served to you; instead, you take action yourself. You have a good analytical ability and can switch perspectives between detail and the big picture. You have a good ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You also need to be flexible and adaptable to thrive in our changing environment.
The role requires good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, both internally and externally. Fluent English is required as you will be working with the business in the USA. In the coming year, warehouses will also be set up in Europe, and you will be involved in this work.
