Service / Support Technician for an Exciting Position at AWI Maskin - Arlöv

AWI is now seeking a service and support technician with a focus on the polymer and railway industries. At AWI, you will have the chance to work with advanced systems, technical support, and preventive maintenance while constantly learning and developing!

You will be part of a close-knit and unpretentious team where your technical expertise truly makes a difference. You will be responsible for service, maintenance, and new installations, as well as being a key player providing technical support to both customers and the internal team. Your base will be the office in Arlöv, but you will also travel and lead projects at construction sites, for example, during the installation of train lifts.

AWI is looking for someone with experience in mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical/electronics, who is responsible and flexible with travel. Responsibilities:

• Perform service, maintenance, and new installations of polymer processing machines.
• Conduct service maintenance of train lifts and participate in new installations.
• Project manage new installations of simpler train lifts.
• Provide phone and email support to customers.
• Drive upselling of service to existing customers.
• Participate in trade fairs in and outside of Sweden.
• Support our salespeople with technical questions.

Your Profile:

We are a small, close-knit team where everyone helps and supports each other. We are looking for a self-driven service technician with a strong interest in technology and experience in hydraulics, electrical/electronics, and control systems. Experience with polymer processing machines is a plus but not a requirement.

As a person, you are positive, social, and have an easy time collaborating with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You appreciate challenges and are not afraid of a job that occasionally involves a lot of travel. Good computer skills and the ability to handle common office programs are a must. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English, and a B driver's license and access to a car are required.
