About the Position

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that we meet our commitments to our customers in the most resource-efficient way through planning and optimization against customer orders/forecasts.

In the role of Production Planner, you will work closely with the production team, purchasing, and customers to provide both flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the company's planning and forecasting work and, in consultation with the Production Manager, setting current capacity levels.
• Developing the flow of information and materials to best deliver products and services to customers to achieve the company's goals.
• Updating the planning modules in the business system Monitor G5.
• Being involved in continuously improving production results based on set goals (KPIs) in safety, productivity, and cost through work with LEAN (continuous improvements).
• Actively participating in production management meetings and follow-ups.
• Being the spider in the web between purchasing and inventory to the forecasting and planning tool (Monitor G5).
• Participating in various improvement and development projects within planning, production, and other related areas.

Boxon Tech operates on a 3-shift schedule, and as a Production Planner, you will work daytime.

The workplace is located in Dalby in Lund Municipality, easily accessible from large parts of southern and central Skåne.

The position reports to the Production Manager.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in production planning in a manufacturing company. You are likely at the beginning of your career and want to take the next step in your development.

We are flexible regarding your educational background, meaning you may have studied at a college/university, YH/KY, or have other relevant education and/or experience.

You have an understanding of and experience in planning and optimizing materials, machines, and employees.

You have good IT skills and previous experience in production planning within business systems. Knowledge of Monitor G5 is an advantage. We expect you to have good knowledge of Excel.

The work involves some international contacts, which requires at least a good command of English (spoken and written).

As a person, you are self-driven and solution-oriented. You work in a structured manner and find it easy to prioritize and make decisions. Your communication style is clear, and you can speak up when necessary but also understand the importance of a humble approach in a coordinating function between production, sales, purchasing, and inventory.

The position requires a B driver's license.
