Supplier Quality Assurance

We are looking for someone with a background in quality work who wants to develop the collaboration between the company and its suppliers. You will be working towards the electrified vehicle market and will play a key role in the purchasing department to ensure that the company's products meet the high demands and standards set by the automotive industry.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an engaged and proactive Supplier Quality Assurance to drive and develop subcontractors to deliver flawless products to the company's production. In this broad role, you will be a central contact point for both internal and external suppliers, develop collaboration, and contribute to ensuring that quality standards are adhered to at the highest level.

Your responsibilities include:

Continuous improvement work together with the rest of the purchasing department and suppliers.
Manage supplier complaints: Identify and document issues with deliveries, analyze causes of errors, and collaborate with suppliers to find solutions.
Proactive development of suppliers: Work to improve collaboration with suppliers and ensure that their processes are continuously developed to meet our requirements.
Supplier audits: Conduct and lead supplier audits to ensure that quality requirements, standards, and agreements are followed, as well as identify any risks in the supplier's processes. These will involve travel to suppliers, mainly in Europe, 10-30 times a year. The trips occur during workweeks and typically last 2-4 days.
Coordination: Be a clear and effective communicator with suppliers, production, and other internal departments to ensure that the right actions are taken to address issues.
Support production in daily deviations and similar quality issues that are supplier-related.

The role of Supplier Quality Assurance requires a combination of technical understanding, the ability to build good relationships, and a structured and goal-oriented approach. You will collaborate with several internal and external parties and play an important role in ensuring long-term, stable supplier relationships.

ABOUT YOU

For the Supplier Quality Assurance role, we are looking for a self-driven and proactive person. You are structured and have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. You are unpretentious and have an easy time collaborating with different types of people. You have good social skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. You are not afraid to ask questions to find solutions and improvements. You have a desire to learn and develop in both technology and quality work.

Requirements:

Engineering degree or other technical background. You should be able to read and interpret drawings and have a basic understanding of technical and quality requirements.
Experience in quality work, preferably within the automotive industry.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

Experience from the manufacturing industry.
