Mechanical Designer in Malmö

We are now looking for a mechanical designer for our client's operations in Malmö. Here you will work with everything from concept development to finished products, in close collaboration with both customers and internal teams.

About the role

As a mechanical designer with us, you will work on design, product development, and technical solutions for both new and existing products. You will be an important part of our team and contribute your expertise throughout the development process – from idea and design to prototype manufacturing and production.

Your responsibilities include:

Design and development of mechanical components and systems.

3D modeling and drawing production in CAD tools (for example, SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor).

Calculations and material selection to optimize design and strength.

Prototype development and product testing.

Close collaboration with customers, production, and suppliers to ensure quality and functionality.

Participation in technical projects where you contribute innovative solutions.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we believe you are a meticulous and creative engineer with a strong interest in technology. You enjoy solving complex problems and have a good understanding of mechanical designs and manufacturing processes.

We are looking for someone who has:

Relevant technical education, such as mechanical engineering, product development, or similar.

Experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably within the industry.

Good knowledge of CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor.

Understanding of material selection, strength, and production methods.

Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
