IT System Specialist at Mälarenergi

Your Role

With us, you will play a key role in troubleshooting, improving, and securing our IT solutions – always with a focus on stability, security, and user-friendliness. As an IT System Specialist, you will be part of our team, which consists of a management leader and two systems specialists. We work closely with the business and our system suppliers to ensure that our solutions support the business in the best way.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Implement changes in the systems, including administration and configuration
• Troubleshoot, test, and manage incidents
• Describe needs, order, and follow up on deliveries from system suppliers
• Manage licenses, roles, and permissions
• Provide support to users and communicate with other stakeholders
• Work with IT and information security
• Create and use SQL calls

We Are Looking For You

To succeed in this role, we see that you are a person with strong drive and a sense of responsibility. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and communicative, with the ability to see the big picture and translate business needs into effective IT solutions.

In this role, you need to be a skilled coordinator who can drive dialogue and collaboration between technology, business, and suppliers. If you have experience with complex billing systems and the energy sector, that is a significant advantage. You also need to have a genuine interest in technology and a desire to understand how our systems work and can be developed.

We are looking for someone with relevant education focused on IT or equivalent, and we would like you to have experience in system management or IT support and have worked with mission-critical systems. If you also have experience with CRM and billing systems, that is a significant advantage. Proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, is a requirement.
