Etraveli Group is the global leader in tech for online flight sales. We are here to solve complexity by connecting millions of flights and travelers around the world, from search and selection to travel and beyond. We own online travel agencies such as Mytrip, GoToGate, and Flight Network and provide flights for Booking.com. Etraveli Group has also established partnerships with companies like Skyscanner, Google Flights, TUI, and more.

Of our 2500 employees, about 40 work in customer service at our office in Uppsala. We are a young and dynamic team that often organizes joint activities and afterworks. Our office is located in central Uppsala, in modern and bright premises. When the weather permits, we also have the opportunity to enjoy our fantastic rooftop terrace. No prior experience is required to start with us, as we offer a paid training course of eight weeks, along with several other attractive benefits.

About the role

In the role of customer service representative, you will work with several booking systems and handle technically complex cases. You will support our customers primarily via phone with all aspects of their flight bookings, such as cancellations, rebookings, baggage issues, and name changes. Your daily work will focus on problem-solving and extensive navigation in our various systems. Your role is important in the company as you are the link to our customers and can influence how our customers perceive our brand.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Receiving and handling incoming calls, chats, and emails
  • Ensuring and delivering high-quality customer service, i.e., handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally
  • Managing cases related to e.g. - canceled flights, rebookings, and baggage changes
  • Navigating a large number of booking systems
  • Reporting technical issues, customer complaints, and other problems

The work is scheduled during office hours, between 8 AM and 5 PM on weekdays. You will not work weekends or public holidays. During your first eight weeks, you will follow a training plan and have a mentor who helps you get into the job in the best way. It is important that you can attend in person throughout the training.

About you

In this role, a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn are the most important. We are looking for someone who is self-assured and thrives in a dynamic environment where things are constantly happening. Previous experience in customer service, especially over the phone, is an advantage, and you should have a genuine passion for delivering excellent service. You are motivated by working towards goals and enjoy having your performance measured daily. There is an opportunity to receive both monthly and quarterly bonuses based on quality and efficiency.

We believe that you:

  • Have an interest in and ability to quickly learn new systems – you enjoy using the computer as a working tool.
  • Are driven to achieve and exceed set goals.
  • Are flexible and have a strong sense of service.
  • Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is also an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in customer service or support, preferably via phone.
  • A relevant travel sales education or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of booking systems such as Sabre and/or Amadeus.
  • Knowledge of Finnish, Danish, or Norwegian.
