At the Clinical Physiology Laboratory at Skaraborg Hospital, we are part of the cardiology operations within area of operations 8.

We perform diagnostic examinations on patients with symptoms from the heart, lungs, brain, and blood vessels, covering all of Skaraborg as our catchment area.

With us, there are great opportunities for varied tasks, and we offer a dynamic and stimulating workplace where you can work with advanced medical technology in a highly specialized environment. We are an engaged team of 15 biomedical analysts, 1 nursing assistant, and 6 medical secretaries who work closely with doctors from cardiology and other specialties. We are an important part of the hospital's operations and always strive to develop and improve our work.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic physiological examinations such as exercise tests, echocardiograms, long-term ECGs, lung function measurements, EEGs, and pacemaker follow-ups.
• Work cross-professionally with cardiologists, pulmonologists, vascular surgeons, and other hospital staff.
• Contribute to a learning and developing work environment where competence and operational development are a natural part of everyday life.
• Manage and use advanced medical technology in daily work.

Qualifications

• Licensed biomedical analyst.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Interest in development, innovation, and a positive attitude towards change.
• Quality-conscious, responsible, and contributes to a good work environment.
• Experience in clinical physiology is an advantage but not a requirement.
