Summer Temporary Position at Coop Växjö

Between the lakes of Växjösjön and Trummen, you will find Coop Växjö on Emil Lindells Väg, a smaller store with about 7 employees. We are a nice store with wonderful customers and helpful staff.

We are now looking for a summer temporary employee for our store. We want you to have good initiative and a positive energy that spreads, see the customer’s needs, and deliver the best customer service in the industry with pride and joy.

As a person, you are creative and like to come up with suggestions and ideas, and you find it easy to work in a team. You have an eye for detail and the commitment to create a welcoming, sales-oriented, and inspiring store. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to continuously develop and streamline both the business and yourself.

Your tasks will vary, and you will work with all common tasks in the store, such as customer service, cashier work, and stocking shelves. Customers should always be greeted by a fresh and well-stocked store and receive top-notch service.

Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store, and for you, the customer is number one. You easily create long-term customer relationships and have the ability to inspire customers to enjoy shopping. You thrive on being active and working with your body. Working in a store offers you a varied job at times with a fast pace, and it is important that you feel comfortable handling stressful situations.

Previous experience in the grocery retail sector is highly meritorious, but personal suitability is just as important to us at Coop. We would prefer you to have previous experience in cashier work as this will be a significant part of your work with us.

The position is a summer temporary part-time job of 15 hours/week. The working period is from June to August, with a desired start date on Thursday, June 5th. Recruitment is ongoing, and positions may be filled before the application deadline. Working hours vary and include both daytime and evening shifts as well as weekends.

• Good Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement
• At least 18 years old is a requirement as you need to be able to work independently at the cash register
• Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions are meritorious
