Therefore, we are now looking for you as an Automation Engineer or Process Engineer who is passionate about automation, where you, together with project managers and other engineering colleagues, will work on automation projects for our customers in the Swedish process industry, primarily in the pharmaceutical sector.

The projects are of high technical complexity where ABB's market-leading DCS platform, System 800xA, is used to control processes with tailored solutions. We apply concepts based on the system's batch functionality, from design phase to commissioning and follow-up on-site with our customers.

Are you ready to join a committed, skilled team of women and men of mixed ages to contribute to a sustainable society? Then you might be the right person for us!
  • You will participate in delivery projects together with the project team and be involved in all phases of the project from sales support and idea to commissioning and after-sales support.
  • Your tasks include, for example, developing functional specifications, system setup, system integration, programming, and verification/validation in the form of testing with our customers.
  • You will ensure that the technical solution is developed in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements with the right quality and according to the timeline.
  • You will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers but will also act independently in smaller projects, together with our customers, including participation in project and technical meetings as well as site visits.
  • You will represent ABB and be an important key player with our customers.

Qualifications for the role

  • We are looking for someone with extensive experience in the process industry.
  • We are looking for someone with an academic education, such as a bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering.
  • As a person, you are curious, goal-oriented, and communicative, able to build relationships and put the customer in focus.
  • It is an advantage if you have experience with System 800xA and batch functionality or DCS platforms from other manufacturers.
  • You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
  • You should have a valid driver's license (B).
