Join our team and be empowered to define innovative solutions, continuous learning, and collaborate with awesome colleagues. As an Engineering Manager - CRM, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the expert for the evolution of systems and platforms of the integrated CRM landscape.

• Managing the architectural relationship with platform providers, implementation partners, and providing guidance to development teams.

• Leading a team of CRM developers with SAP Service and Sales cloud and FSM capabilities (initially managing external developers and eventually recruiting to build your own team).

• Collaborating with cross-functional platform and system owners to ensure the overall integrity of the CRM landscape.

• Understanding industry best practices and engaging with platform providers and vendors to align capabilities and influence standard product roadmaps.

• Mentoring and supporting your team and vendor development teams to take shared code responsibility, ensuring the development model supports high speed and good quality deliverables with the ability to build faster, build in parallel, and release often.

• Demonstrating and infusing modern development practices by following DevOps practices, ensuring deployments into production on at least a bi-weekly basis.

To be successful, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong experience with SAP Cloud CRM (SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud).

• Solid experience with integrations between CRM and ERP (preferably within SAP landscape).

• Solid experience with integrations between CRM and Field service management applications such as IFS FSM.

• Proven experience with technical product management or software development, preferably with a background as a CRM developer looking to advance in your career.

• Exposure to working in a highly integrated Omni-channel (Webshop, IoT, Mobile Apps) CRM experience.

• Experience with DevOps practices/tools within Cloud and On-premises environments (Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration / Delivery / Deployment).

• Articulate technical requirements for APIs, Micro-services, and SDK, empowering both internal and third-party developers to build and experience on top of the platforms with a focus on speed-to-market.

• Business process understanding within Sales, contact center, field service, and consumer data management.

• Preferred previous experience within a consumer-focused company (B2C or D2C).

• Familiarity with AI/ ML platforms and integrations with CRM.

Core Responsibilities:

• Headcount planning and hiring for the responsible technical competence area (horizontal – platform, coding practices).

• Budget and forecast responsibility for the horizontal competence area.

• Team planning and delivery for both horizontal and vertical product areas you are responsible for.

• Ensuring team meetings, community of practices, career planning of personnel, and 1-1's.

• Ensuring team productivity, resource utilization, and continuous improvement of SDLC leveraging test & release automations and observability.

• Managing and collaborating with software vendors of the platforms you are responsible for.

• Managing and collaborating with delivery partners such as IBM.

Technical Ownership:

• Owning technical decisions in the product and tech area you are responsible for.

• Hands-on coding and configurations somewhere between 0% to 30% of the time.

• Identifying and executing technology enablers in both horizontal competence (upgrades, tenant design) and product vertical (feature enablers).

• Actively participating and leading the execution of the product roadmap and delivery (co-lead with product manager).

• Ownership of the architecture and technical design.

• Jointly responsible with PM for Total Cost of Ownership.
