Business Description - Kvillebäcken

AvAsta - Kvillebäcken operates in the newly built area of Kvillebäcken on Hisingen. The area is close to Gothenburg's city center, where it only takes six minutes to get from Kvillebäcken to the Central Station. The operation consists of 10 LSS apartments for adults with autism, other neuropsychiatric disabilities, or intellectual disabilities with psychiatric comorbidity, as well as individuals with primarily other psychiatric diagnoses.

The operation is led by a manager supported by a unit manager, where we are now looking for a driven and committed Support Assistant. The operation has permission from the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO). The company also has framework agreements.

Job Responsibilities

Your task is to provide quality of life. Thanks to you and your support, our tenants can live a meaningful life. You see each person and interpret what they need while enhancing the lives of the people in the accommodation.

The job responsibilities include supporting individuals in their daily lives and leisure activities, as well as helping them achieve their goals according to the implementation plan. This includes accompanying tenants to various activities and meetings, as well as promoting good cooperation with colleagues, social services, guardians, and other actors in the individual's life. You will also be responsible for social documentation and other assignments included in the position. You will also be a contact person for one or more tenants, supporting and assisting them in their change processes.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a support assistant, treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, leisure pedagogue, nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry, or other equivalent education valued by the employer.
  • Is secure and stable and has the ability to remain calm when interacting with people in distress.
  • We see low-affect responses as a merit and believe you will thrive best with us if you can handle sudden events as threats and violence may occur to varying degrees.
  • You can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • A driver's license is a merit.

Conditions
