At our client Elias, there are already five assistants on schedule. He is a determined and active boy with a big personality and several disabilities. We want to strengthen the workgroup and are now looking for someone who can work extra hours.

Elias is wheelchair-bound, has epilepsy, is non-verbal, and has a developmental disability. The assistants help him with most daily activities. He lives in his own semi-detached house and has many interests, so his assistants have a varied job. Elias has assistants by his side 24/7 and has a significant need for help.

The Role and Experience of the Assistant
You need to be attentive, caring, and full of positive energy while also having your own drive. As an assistant to Elias, you also need to be a person with great patience as he needs time to make himself understood. You should enjoy working with colleagues in a team but also be able to work independently.
Since Elias relies on help from his assistants to plan both his activities and interests, you should not be afraid to try new things. It may not work the first or second time, but the third time it might.

A driver's license (B) and good physical condition are required for applicants. Access to a car (automatic) with a ramp is available.
The shifts include days, evenings, nights with on-call duty, and weekends on a rotating schedule. On weekends, there are usually 2 assistants working (double assistance) so that Elias can enjoy exciting activities on his days off. Training and introduction will take place at the workplace together with other assistants and Elias.

Desirable Experience
• Personal assistant, 1–2 years of experience
• Swedish in speech and writing
• B-Driver's license

Working Hours/ Employment Rate
• On-demand employment, hourly substitute.
• Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, nights with on-call duty, and weekends.
