Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following criteria:

• wants to work with our male client in his mid-30s residing in Lidköping
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has experience communicating with the help of signs and support

It is an advantage if you

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license
• share the client's interests in bowling, swimming, theater, and dance

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The positions are summer temporary jobs at approximately 42% and 58%.

Position 1: approximately 42% position, summer temporary. Start immediately until week 31 on weekdays, Tuesdays ~13.45-09.00, (on-call 7.5/night) and weekend shifts 2 Sundays a month from 10-19. /Rolling 4-week schedule. Average 17 hours active and 9 hours on-call per week. Position 2 approximately 58% position summer temporary from week 26 to 34. Average of 2 shifts/week on weekdays, Tuesdays ~13.45-09.00, (on-call 7.5/night) and weekend shifts Saturday 10.00-10.00 and 2 Sundays/month 10.00 - 8.45 (on-call 7.5 hours)

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Start immediately for the 42% position, the 58% position starts week 26, but we would like to have the possibility of introductory shifts starting in May/June and having worked a few shifts with the client.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
