We are looking for someone who wants to develop both themselves and our organization and be part of a team where good service and the well-being of our residents are in focus!

About the Position

The position includes regular nursing tasks with a focus on care and dementia.

With us, it also includes mentoring staff in various care issues, providing telephone advice, and delegating. We use a digital signing system for delegated care staff. You are an important part of our work with person-centered care, BPSD, and palliative care through NVP. The majority of shifts consist of day shifts, Monday to Friday, but also one evening a week. Weekend duty occurs every 6th weekend.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Nursing tasks with a focus on care and dementia.
• Mentoring staff in various care issues.
• Providing telephone advice and delegating care staff.
• Person-centered care, BPSD, and palliative care through NVP.
• Round work.
• Team meetings.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Be a licensed nurse.
• Have a driver's license for manual transmission and driving experience.
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Further education in elderly care.
• Experience working in a nursing home.

To fit this position, you need to care about our elderly and the work in elderly care. We work in teams where collaboration is important. You will also work independently, make assessments, and make your own decisions. The work is varied, which you need to feel comfortable with, and therefore you need to have a flexible approach. You also want to be involved in developing care quality and improving patient safety in our special accommodations.

About Us

Birgittagården is centrally located in Rimbo and has 74 apartments with staffing around the clock, all year round. Our goal is to create a residence that we ourselves would choose to live in. We are pleased that many of our residents stay with us for a long time, which gives us many memorable meetings with our elderly and their relatives. With us, you will join a workgroup with experienced and skilled nursing assistants who work closely with the nurses.

Within Tiohundra, we have 9 nursing homes with dementia and care places. Some of our homes also have short-term places. Important to us is the work with patient safety and person-centered care, which is facilitated by the fact that the company includes both elderly care and acute care. Common to all our homes is that they are run with commitment and warmth.
