Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation is a municipal federation responsible for conducting and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4000 students and 600 employees spread across our five schools.

Jenny Nyström School is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation. At Jenny Nyström School, there is an adapted upper secondary school for students with intellectual disabilities. We are a forward-thinking school with an open climate that believes in both you as a teacher and our students, offering quality education in a safe and stimulating learning environment. We focus on giving each student the opportunity to develop according to their own conditions and reach their full potential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teacher to teach courses in common upper secondary subjects in the adapted upper secondary school. This means teaching at the primary school level. Teaching takes place in smaller student groups, and you will adapt the instruction to each student's individual needs and conditions. We are looking for a flexible, creative, and solution-oriented teacher with a positive attitude. We offer a meaningful and developing workplace with engaged and competent colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

A teaching license is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. If you do not have a special education qualification specializing in intellectual disabilities, you will need to complete the training before you can receive a permanent position.
