Description

Agneberg is part of Uddevalla high school.

At Agneberg, we have the Economic Program (EK), Vocational Training (GLU), Restaurant and Food Program (RL), Social Science Program (SA), Introduction Program (IM), and Adapted Upper Secondary School. We have approximately 1200 students and 140 staff.

We have access to modern IT technology and a well-developed library. Agneberg has a well-established international network with exchanges in other countries. We have a fantastic student health team as well as study and career counselors and a school psychologist.

Responsibilities

You will teach students in the Social Science Program and other programs in mathematics and possibly other subjects.
Mentorship together with a colleague is included.
Work together with colleagues on other common assignments in the Social Science Program.

You will be part of the wonderful team in the Social Science Program and work to help students develop into good citizens, good employees, and good people for the future!

We are looking for someone who

Has a strong interest in working with high school students.
Is structured and has a good ability to plan your teaching in a way that meets students' needs and interests.
Is organized and has the ability to prioritize your work effectively.
Dares to think and try new things independently and together with colleagues.
Has the ability to be creative and responsible in your teaching as well as in the overall teaching assignment.

Great importance is placed on personal qualities - we are looking for a team player who wants to work together to develop the Social Science Program with us at Agneberg!

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher in mathematics, possibly combined with another subject.
You are well acquainted with the governing documents of upper secondary school.
You have a focus on the student and the operation.
You have good computer skills and see digital technology as a natural way of working.
You are interested in developing the school and want to work for increased goal fulfillment.
It is advantageous if you have a subject combination suitable for the Social Science Program, e.g., Natural Science, Religion, or Italian.
