The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool class to grade nine, adapted primary school, culture school, and after-school care. The administration has 138 municipal primary schools where almost 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who work together to develop and take care of the operations - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a committed teacher who wants to make a difference? Then you could be the high school teacher we are looking for at Tolered School.

Your responsibilities include teaching at the high school level. Broad qualifications are advantageous and provide the opportunity to work with different subject combinations. Together with your team, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in accordance with Lgr22 and other governing documents. You are also responsible for collaborating with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a safe and developing environment for the students. We are looking for a teacher who wants to work together and contribute to our team spirit. You strive to create a meaningful and inspiring learning situation with a focus on ensuring that all students can succeed based on their conditions. We value clear and positive leadership as well as the ability to be flexible for the benefit of the students. Tolered School is a K-9 school with about 700 students and around 100 employees. Here, inspiring meetings take place where we develop through participation, learning, and knowledge. We work from a holistic perspective with the student at the center, where the student should develop, learn, and feel good with a focus on their learning and social development.

We offer an open, developing, and pleasant working community. We see this, along with good relationships, as an important prerequisite for a good school experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in at least two of the following subjects: mathematics, science, and/or physical education. You have previous experience working as a teacher, and we consider it an advantage if you have broad qualifications. You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have the ability to lead and vary teaching to create a desire for learning.

We see that you are solution-focused, flexible, and have good collaboration skills with both students, guardians, and colleagues. You take responsibility for your own and the shared tasks and are keen to complete what you have started and ensure that the work is done correctly. You easily adapt your working methods and perspectives based on changed conditions and new information.

You gain energy from contributing to others' learning, and you create conditions for learning to occur; you encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you contribute to a respectful working climate.
