ABOUT THE ROLE

As Product Owner Finance, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing finance solutions that support our D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) operations. You will play a key role in the Consumer Direct Interaction (CDI) Experience organization, working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business owners to ensure our financial systems align with customer needs and business objectives.

The finance product area requires a strong understanding of the order-to-cash flow, enabling you to design solutions and improvements that enhance sales and commercial growth within our D2C channel. You will report to the Product Manager D2C Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work tasks

• Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring an understanding of their impact on financial flows in the D2C consumer journey.
• Translate business requirements into actionable epics and user stories.
• Work closely with development & scrum teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Document the blueprint of developed features and assess their performance and ROI over time.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in D2C or finance-related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Proficiency in Jira for managing product backlogs and sprints.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• A curious, self-motivated problem solver with strong prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical skills: Business Finance, SAP FICO and SAP SD.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

It is meritorious if you have

• Technical skills: In-depth knowledge of finance processes in SAP.

Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
