Your role with us

As a Quotation Engineer, you play a central role in producing technically and economically competitive quotations. You are the link between the customer and our production, ensuring that our solutions are feasible and optimized for the customer's needs. Your tasks include:

• Technical dialogue and negotiation with customers via phone and email to understand their needs and requirements.
• Creating tailored solutions through cost calculations of materials, labor, and resources.
• Preparing technical and commercial documents for bids and projects.
• Working in ERP systems to manage quotations and project data.
• Maintaining and developing calculation tools and price lists.

You work closely with sales, order preparation, production, and after-sales to ensure realistic delivery times and cost-effective solutions.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in quotation work, cost calculation, or similar technical roles.
• Preferably has experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Has a very good technical understanding with experience in interpreting drawings and technical documents.
• Has experience with calculation tools, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Enjoys working in a structured and meticulous manner as the quotations contain many details.

Molins Rostfria AB is a company that started its operations in 1911 as a construction sheet metal shop. In the 1950s, the business transitioned to producing plumbing products and stainless steel equipment for kitchens. After three generations of the Molin family, the company was purchased by Ebbe Stedt in 1975 and has been run by two generations of the Stedt family. In the 2000s, Molins Rostfria has grown to become Sweden's largest player in its niche of stainless steel furnishings for large kitchens. In 2020, Idun Industrier AB, www.idun.com, invested in Molins Rostfria and became the majority owner. The business currently employs about 40 people in Kristianstad and has approximately 5000 m² of production space.
