Your new job

As a care assistant/nursing assistant at the municipality's special housing, you will work with personal care and service for the citizens living there. You work to promote the physical, mental, and social health of the citizens. Your mission is to support the citizens and facilitate their daily lives. You provide personal care based on individual needs and perform delegated health and medical care tasks such as specific care and rehabilitation. You collaborate with care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, coordinators, unit managers, and document in our operational systems, which is an important part of your duties.

Employment form

Is temporary and extends until September 30, 2025, with the possibility of extension. The employment rate is 60%.

Common tasks

• Assist citizens with personal hygiene and basic care
• Support during transfers
• Medication administration according to medical delegation and prescription
• Preparation of light meals
• Support during meals
• Simple wound dressing
• Care documentation
• Washing clothes for citizens and staff
• Daily tidying for citizens

Your qualifications

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in care and nursing
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

Meritorious

• Trained nursing assistant
• Experience working in elderly care
